Our most popular and longest running camp, Summer Experience in Aransas (S.E.A.) Camp is a 1 week, half day camp held in June and July. This experience is offered FREE to Aransas County Residents through the generosity of the Margaret Sue Rust Foundation. Grades 1-5 (based on ending school year grade level) are welcome to attend. Grade levels are grouped together; 1st/2nd grade and 3rd/4th grade can choose from a week of camp in either June or July. Campers cannot attend both sessions. 5th grade camp will be held in July.
Campers are taken to attractions around Rockport/Fulton to learn all about Aransas County. We partner with Texas Parks and Wildlife Coastal Fisheries, Goose Island State Park, Fulton Mansion, and Bay Education Center. Campers, depending on age, will learn to kayak, fish, identify critters in the coastal estuaries, build professional sand castles and experience history on the coast.
Registration held the first Saturday in May, 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM at the Museum, on a first come first serve basis. Limited spots are available. Non-Resident registration forms will be accepted on the following Monday.
