Sailor’s Holiday Spring Break Camp is offered through the week of Aransas County ISD’s Spring Break Holiday with new topics and learning experiences for children ages 5 (Pre-K) through 5th grade.
The registration fee covers 5 mornings of supervised educational crafts, activities, snacks, and interesting educational experiences.
Scholarships and sibling discounts are not offered for this camp.
We offer two half day camps at the Texas Maritime Museum: Summer Experience in Aransas (S.E.A.) Camp and our afternoon H2Odyssey Camp.
Full Scholarships for both camps will be awarded through local schools to Aransas county students and residents only.
Sibling supplements for H2Odyssey Camp are on a first come, first serve basis, with no restrictions on residency.
Here is a little bit about each program –
Summer Experience in Aransas (S.E.A.) Camp: Students experience the best of Aransas County including history, wildlife and ecology with activities like kayaking, fishing, sandcastle building and more. Activities are matched with grade levels, with variations for every age group. Campers visit partner attractions such as Texas Maritime Museum, Bay Education Center, Fulton Mansion, Goose Island State Park, Rockport Beach Park and other wonderful organizations.
H2Odyssey Camp: Campers learn about the amazing element water is, the ways we use it, need it, fight it or change it. Activities demonstrate how things work, are built, reactions, physical properties and ways to create art.
Monday-Thursday camp hours are spent at the Texas Maritime Museum and end with fun water games. Fridays are spent at the Community Pool.
