Information

The Texas Maritime Museum is a 501(c)3 non-profit cultural and natural history museum.  We are funded through fundraisers, grants, gifts, and admissions.

Admission to the museum:

Adults                                        $5.00  $6.00 as of 7/1/2008

Seniors                                       $4.00  $5.00 as of 7/1/2008

Children 6 to 12                      $2.00 $3.00 as of 7/1/2008

Children 5 and under                                                            Free

Hours of Operation:

   Tuesday through Saturday,   10 am to 4 pm

    Sunday, 1 pm to 4 pm

Always closed on Mondays

     Group Rates Available 

 

The Texas Maritime Museum is open year-round to the public.  It is closed for Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.  Tours are self-guided, and you should plan on 1-2 hours for your visit at the least.  If you would like information about a guided group tour please contact the office at 361-729-1271 or e-mail educator@texasmaritimemuseum.org .
