Pirate Day

Ahoy, mateys!

Grab yer crew and set sail for Pirate Day at the Texas Maritime Museum on Friday, September 19th, from 11 AM to 2 PM! This free, come-and-go event be perfect for young buccaneers, landlubbers, and even seasoned sea dogs.

What’s in the Treasure Chest?

• Make yer own pirate hats, spyglasses, flags, and treasure maps

• Explore sensory bins and hands-on pirate crafts and activities

• Enjoy pirate games, balloon twisting, and themed worksheets

• Meet other homeschooling families and fellow adventurers

• Don yer finest pirate attire because costumes arrgh encouraged!

Whether ye stay for an hour or drop anchor all afternoon, there’s pirate fun for kids of all ages. Just remember,no pets allowed, not even parrots (real ones, anyway)!

So mark yer map, rally yer mates, and join us in the Education Room of the Texas Maritime Museum (1202 Navigation Circle, Rockport) for a swashbucklin’ good time. No ticket needed, just show up and prepare for adventure!
