Enjoy a spooktacular maritime adventure during the Texas Maritime Museum’s Pumpkin Decorating Contest! From October 7th to 31st, our maritime-themed pumpkin decorating extravaganza invites you to unleash your creativity and transform ordinary pumpkins into extraordinary nautical masterpieces.

Whether you fancy crafting a fearsome pirate ship, a mischievous sea creature, or a classic lighthouse, we want to see your imagination set sail! Carve, paint, or decorate your pumpkin with a sea-inspired twist—think anchors, treasure maps, or anything that would make a sailor’s heart skip a beat. The only limit is your creativity!

Pumpkin Entries Accepted: October 7th – 31st by 4:00 PM
Judging Date: November 1st
Location: Drop off your maritime marvels at the front desk of The TMM Museum.
