Join us for our 2025 Texas Navy Day event and set sail on a journey through the rich maritime history of the Republic of Texas! This free, family-friendly event celebrates the brave sailors, ships, and stories that helped shape our state’s coastal legacy.

  Presented by Howard Jones, Sons of the Republic of Texas
• 12:00 PM – Flags for the Republic of Texas
  Presented by Kam Wagert, Daughters of the Republic of Texas
• 12:30 PM – Music of the Sailors
  Choral performance by the Rockport-Fulton Middle School Choir
• 1:00 PM – Recognition & Remarks
  Featuring Admirals of the Texas Navy Zavala Squadron

All-Day Activities:

• Explore historic artifacts from the Texas Navy
• Sample authentic sailors’ fare like hardtack, grog, pork pie, and chicken fricassee
• Try your hand at knot-tying with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary
