The Ingenuity of Civil War Texans | Winter Lecture Series

Continue your journey through Texas history with another engaging program in our Winter Lecture Series: “The Ingenuity of Civil War Texans,” presented by Ed Cotham, on Monday, January 19th, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
This lecture offers a look at the creativity, resourcefulness, and determination of Texans during the Civil War era. Drawing on wide-ranging historical insight, Ed Cotham will explore how Texans adapted to extraordinary challenges on land and along the coast, highlighting the ingenuity that defined the state during one of the most turbulent periods in its history.
The presentation will conclude with a Q&A session, allowing attendees to engage directly with the speaker and further explore the topic.
Admission is free, with donations gratefully accepted. Enjoy coffee and light refreshments, generously provided by H-E-B and Duck Blind Coffee, whose sponsorship helps make this popular lecture series possible.
