Winter Lecture Series 2025 – David Kroskie: The Town of Copano

Join us at the Texas Maritime Museum for our annual Winter Lecture Series every Monday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. This free program is one of our most popular adult programs and offers twelve weeks of engaging and informative presentations by distinguished professionals in their respective fields. This week, David Kroskie will speak on the topic of The Town of Copano.

David Kroskie is a Cultural Resources Coordinator/Regional Archeologist for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and a master’s in applied Archeology. He has over 15 years of experience, having worked for non-profits, universities, and private consultants in Pittsburgh before moving to Texas and joining TPWD in 2018. At TPWD, he serves as a professional archeologist responsible for coordinating all cultural resources management activities in South Texas’ state parks, which includes the protection, management, and public interpretation of their many cultural resources.
