Learn at the Texas Maritime Museum

At the Texas Maritime Museum, our mission is to educate and inspire visitors about the rich maritime history of Texas. We achieve this by showcasing unique artifacts, interactive exhibits, and a range of educational opportunities. Our Museum Education Department is committed to fulfilling this mission by engaging visitors of all ages through guided tours, informative lectures, exciting kids’ camps during spring break and summer, as well as personalized educational programs and events.

Adult Programs

Our Lecture Series is hosted by the Museum Education Department, these maritime and Texas history presentations are offered January through April each year.

Homeschool Programs

The Texas Maritime Museum offers homeschool classes to home school groups and students in the Coastal Bend area. Classes cover various STEAM topics, any grade or age.

Group Tours

Customized group guided tours available by appointment, contact the Museum Office to schedule. Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

School Tours

Field Trip Rates: ACISD FREE, Others $3.00/per student. TEKS-aligned resources available.
