Hewitt/O’Connor Hewitt Foundation Maritime Collections and Education Center marked a significant expansion in the museum’s offerings. With the exterior finished in May 2009 and the interior in April 2012, this new facility added a 1,200-square-foot education space and significantly expanded the museum’s collections area.
