The Texas Maritime Museum has unveiled a newly reimagined membership program designed to provide greater value, stronger connections, and more meaningful ways for supporters to engage with the Museum and the rich maritime heritage of the Lone Star State.
Developed using feedback from current members, former members, and the public, the updated program introduces new benefits while reinforcing the Museum’s commitment to preserving and sharing the stories that have shaped Texas through its waterways.
“As the official Maritime Museum of Texas, we have a responsibility to preserve and interpret the maritime history of our entire state,” said Michael Ables, Executive Director of the Texas Maritime Museum. “Our members make that work possible. This new program is designed to thank them with enhanced benefits while creating even more opportunities to connect with the history they help preserve.”
The updated membership program features:
- Enhanced member benefits and exclusive experiences
- Invitations to members-only events and exhibit previews
- Discounts on Museum programs, events, and purchases
- Reciprocal admission opportunities through participating museum networks
- New digital resources and member-exclusive content
- Flexible membership options for individuals, families, and businesses
The new program also reflects the Museum’s vision of building a stronger statewide community of supporters. While located on the Texas coast in Rockport, the Museum serves as the official Maritime Museum of Texas, preserving and interpreting the maritime history of the entire state.
The Museum has also introduced its S.E.R.V.E. Discount, offering eligible individuals 10% off any membership level. The program is available to Seniors, Educators, First Responders, Veterans, and Active-duty military personnel as a way of recognizing those who have dedicated themselves to serving their communities.
The new membership program is available now. Individuals, families, and businesses are invited to explore membership options and join the Museum’s growing community of supporters.
